I would like to introduce you with our project that we have been working on for the last three months.

We are aware of the fact that mobile is very popular in the affiliate world but me and three of my friends nonetheless decided that we would try to establish from scratch a profitable e-commerce project (Shopify+Fullfilment) which will be automatized as much as possible.

Before we get to the point, I would like to say a few words about our background and to explain how we divided our roles.

Guy1: No experience in internet marketing or sales but very perceptive and with a strong wish to create a successful project. Gladly prepared to work 12+ hours a day. His main assignments: research (fulfillment, shopify extensions, …), sourcing (find products & suppliers), copywriting, content building (blog posts, social network), daily operations.

Guy2: PPC marketer who in the last 6 months successfully spent $800k on Facebook on mobile app installations for three clients (performance marketing) and got a lot of information and experience. In the last three years, he prepared a huge amount of Adwords campaigns. His main assignment will be Facebook ads and later on other channels: AdWords, SiteScout, directmedia buy, …

Guy3 (me): I have 7 years of experience with online marketing, experience with managing big projects, some minor but profitable affiliate campaigns, and I have been managing a minor performance agency and I make sure that we deliver to customers the desired results. My main assignments are: planning and managing the project, designing sales-funnels, business analytics, the development of custom-made solutions (e.g. API connection between FB Lead Gen <> MailChimp)…

OK – there are enough of us. The purpose of our Follow-Along is to share with you our findings, concepts and all the things connected to our project so that we might get some feedback or a constructive criticism in return. ☺

This post is a bit longer in comparison to other posts because I will describe
everything that we have done for his project so far since 1. 1. 2016.
