I’m currently building E-commerce/drop shipping business using Shopify as my e-com platform and Facebook as my main traffic source. I feel like there is a bit of buzz around e-com lately so I thought I would create this follow along and bring you all along for the ride.
At this point I’m only a few weeks into actually launching my site, so it’s likely going to be bumpy so hold on.

The business model at its most basic involves:

Using Aliexpress to drop shipped items costing under $5 USD shipped. Advertising these as a Free + Shipping offer on FB leveraging the word FREE. Customers pay shipping between $9.95 and $10.97 on check out.

Here’s a break down of where I’m are at so far:

Beginning of June I spent a few days playing around with Shopify and building my site. I choose a free theme for my website called “Supply” which has been simple to use and modify and so far meet my needs. ( Minimal is another popular option)

The apps I have added to my store include:

– Better Shipping
– Receiptful
– Abandonment Protector
– Mail Chimp
– Retarget App
– Teelaunch
